Chances are you’ve met world-famous kitchen gadget maker OXO, but we’re willing to bet you’ve never heard the backstory. It all started when founder Sam Farber’s wife Betsey was using an old-fashioned vegetable peeler, a task that quickly became painful due to mild arthritis. Sam fashioned a new kind of tool, complete with a comfy handle and a non-slip grip. And now? OXO’s making all kinds of doodads to solve problems we never knew existed.
