Let's gather.
We know just the thing for gathering flowers out in the garden—and for picnicking and collecting seashells too. This find was inspired by baskets that’ve been handed down for generations, and we can tell: It’s completely handcrafted by Amish basket weavers and leather makers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It gets its lovely weave from seagrass rope, wood, willow, and reed, and those handles you see on either side are genuine bridle leather. Half-inch-thick plywood gives it a sturdy base to stand on (so don’t be afraid to put it to work).
Every basket is handmade, so there may be slight variations from piece to piece. (That means yours will be one of a kind.)
