elegant AND comfortable AND useful

WOW who could ask for anything more. Actually comfortable to sit in and the ladder is sturdy and easy to use. AND its beautiful too. Trifecta!

Beautiful designed and manufactured

This chair/stepladder is elegant in design making it able to stay visible in my kitchen - unlike more utilitarian stepladders. Its operation is smooth and simple. Why, then, only four stars? A bit awkward....

First one arrived with a large chunk out of it - FOOD52 promptly replaced! Chair itself is 'front heavy' when used as a chair.....as in, if you lean forward it will likely tip right out from under you. As a step ladder, useful, but takes a few tries to figure out how to get it to stay up. All in all, an OK product, but at a high price point.

Good idea, terrible product

Cheap finish, will definitely dent and scratch, also an odd matte coating. The ladder function is strange and hard to use. Not really nice as a chair either. It is also pretty bulky so don't plan to stick it in a corner like I did. Returned immediately.
