Handmade Oval Serving Set, by Wonki Ware

Wondering what gives these oval platters their pattern-happy looks? Well, they come straight from Wonki Ware pottery studio in South Africa, where they were handmade through a process involving at least 15 different artists. That’s right: Each piece was crafted using local clay, and those designs you see were made using lace (ahh, we can see it now). They were left to dry in the sun before getting kiln-fired, hand-glazed, and kiln-fired again. There’s three sizes and three colors here, and good thing—we’re itching to set these all over the table.
