The fruit bowl just got a clever upgrade: This wonder has a dark, temperature-stable hiding spot for potatoes, onions, and not-quite-ripe fruits. And up top? There’s room for things that need to breathe, like bananas and avocados. The cork lid is inspired by an old trick of tossing wine corks into fruit bowls to absorb moisture and keep flies away—neat, huh?

Love it so much, I ordered a second one!

The wide, shallow bowl is really fantastic. The cream color matches my kitchen nicely, the wide cork top easily contains lots of fruit without fear of metal wires digging into the flesh like most fruit baskets, and the porcelain bottom keeps both onions and garlic - and their skins - contained without a huge mess beneath.

I've ordered the tall, narrow bowl to set on the counter nearest the rangetop to hold garlic and onions below and tomatoes on top, freeing this one to hold potatoes within and fruit on top. :-) Read Less

I don’t mind it on my counter

Love this bowl!! I don’t like countertop clutter but don’t mind this stylish and functional bowl sitting out. It seems to have reduced the smell of ripening bananas from overwhelming the kitchen and help them to last longer. Wish the cork part was slightly deeper but overall, worth the cost!

Beautiful & Functional

Beautifully made, and wonderfully functional. The cork is solid and easy to lift for access to the bowl. The bowl has three purposely designed ventilation holes that are perfectly placed so onion, garlic, and shallot skins will not fall through every time you move the vessel. The large size is very nicely sized.

Perfect Storage Bowl
