The Mepal has a sleek design, with good functionality, it also looks really nice on the counter and in the fridge. The lid pops into the container with ease and locks snugly in place with one click of the top latch. Preserving the freshness of the contents. The Mepal container has several features that make it quite multi-purpose. The glass dish is oven safe to 550C/1000F. The container can also be stored in the freezer, cleaned in the dishwasher or reheated in the microwave. The lid has a steam vent opening to make it easy for reheating in the microwave. These are attractive multifunctional containers that are a worthy investment for your kitchen. I was sent these containers to test out by Food52.

My partner and I have absolutely loved Mepal's Microwaveable Nested Storage Boxes and Bowls, so we were incredibly grateful when Food52 sent us two 15 oz. EasyClip Glass Boxes to test. First and foremost, the quality and thickness of the glass are phenomenal. We both enjoy heavily seasoned foods, which tend to stain even the best plastic containers, so these boxes are a godsend. I appreciate that they stack for storage purposes, and I particularly love the steam vent on the lid. I did have a moment where I thought the lids were coming loose, likely because I tend to hold everything by the lid. However, the lids do not come off unless you intentionally un-clip them. I'll definitely be ordering larger sizes to complete our set.

I was sent these containers by Food52 and I have used them in various ways. Love the versatility of being able to bake in these glass containers (without lid). So convenient to not have to transfer leftovers. Bake and store in same containers.They can used in the microwave and steam vent function is quite useful. The lid is tight enough to prevent leaks. I also like the depth of 15 oz. containers. I baked individual portion of peach cobbler and guess what didn’t have to transfer leftovers.

I was sent a pair of the 15 oz boxes by Mepal & Food52 to try out. The lids are super easy to open and close and the steam vent is great for the microwave! Love the streamlined look and chic colors.The groove where the seal sits is very narrow and hard to wash/dry by hand. Luckily they're dishwasher safe, so that's probably the way to go to make sure they get totally clean.
