Justin Sullivan wants you to know how to clean your fungi without having soggy, water-logged mushrooms. But also, a little dirt never hurt anybody
About us
Food52 is a next-generation cooking and home company that was named one of the world’s most innovative companies by Fast Company in 2022, with a monthly reach of more than 30 million people. From the beginning, the brand challenged the models of traditional media companies and retailers, combining content, commerce, and community around the belief that the kitchen is the heart of the home and food is the center of a well-lived life. Food52 connects a global community of experts and amateurs, supporting them with inspirational, useful content — recipes, videos, podcasts, cookbooks and more — and outfitting them with products that make them happy. In addition to a highly curated Shop representing hundreds of makers, the Food52 community of brands includes its in-house product line Five Two, lighting and lifestyle goods company Schoolhouse, and the heritage home brand DANSK.

Last Evening, our team partnered with Dollar General for a special unveiling of Kathy Ireland's new collection. Our content team created amazing activations and snacks and the guests were treated to a special preview of the collection by Kathy herself. Here's our three takeaways from the event. 1. Being festive can be affordable with the incredible selection that DG has at their stores 2. Isabelle Jardin taught us the magic that a good tablescape can bring to the holidays 3. Kathy Ireland's passion for her product and her customers shined through and created a welcoming and warm space that really made the night feel special

Finished with matcha and cocoa crumb “moss” and a candied apple that looks bitten… but isn’t. Proof that cake decorating doesn’t need to be perfect - just creative and covered in buttercream.
