Steele Canvas x Food52 Cotton Face Mask
When Steele Canvas Basket heard about mask shortages for front-line medical workers, they pivoted their entire operation to help with the demand. Now they're producing cloth masks as a donation to hospitals along the East Coast, and in the process, keeping their family-run factory open and employees working during uncertain times. We've partnered with them to help—and you can, too.

Buy 1 mask for personal use and we'll donate a second mask to medical facilities in need—or you can choose to buy 2 masks and we’ll donate both.
An employee’s mother-in-law is working as a nurse on Long Island. When she learned we were considering making masks, she called to say they would be willing to drive vans up to Boston to pick some up. The demand was so high, we knew we had to help. We started researching patterns, materials, and anything else we could find. In addition to helping healthcare workers, we saw an opportunity to keep our entire staff employed during the crisis. We knew this was the right thing to do.
